PBLWorks TEACH™ Named a Winner in the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Best of 2025

The win marks the third award for TEACH, a web-based app from PBLWorks that provides ready-to-use Project Based Learning (PBL) curriculum for grades K-12

San Rafael, CA (February 23, 2026) – PBLWorks, a national provider of professional development for high-quality Project Based Learning, has earned a third national education award for PBLWorks TEACH™. The product was named a winner in the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Best of 2025 in the Secondary Education Category.

This is the third education award Tech & Learning has given to TEACH since its debut in June 2025. TEACH also won Tech & Learning’s 2025 Back to School awards and its Best of Show at ISTELive 2025 awards.

“We have received exceptional feedback from teachers and administrators about TEACH since its launch just over six months ago,” said PBLWorks CEO Bob Lenz. “Earning a third award from Tech & Learning is further proof that we are delivering a high-quality and much-needed solution.”

TEACH is a web-based application that makes PBL implementation easier for teachers and school leaders by providing them with access to ready-to-use Gold Standard Project Based Learning (PBL) curriculum units. Each project includes lessons with clear outlines and in-depth, step-by-step instructions and resources to help even novice teachers execute the projects with ease. PBLWorks launched middle school curriculum in the summer and expanded TEACH to include elementary and high school units this winter making it a full K-12 solution for PBL.

"TEACH feels like a legit 'PBL-in-a-box' with ready-to-run Gold Standard projects and embedded coaching, so teachers can launch strong, standards-aligned PBL without building everything from scratch,” commented one of the Tech & Learning judges.

The Tech & Learning Best of 2025 Awards celebrate educational technology from the last 12 months that has excelled in supporting teachers, students, and education professionals. Judged by a panel of industry experts, the awards showcase products that are going above and beyond to contribute to the education sector.

“We saw an explosion of innovation in educational technology in 2025, and these nominated products represent the best of the best,” said Tech & Learning Content Director Christine Weiser in the winners’ announcement. “Our judges were impressed with the breadth of these winning products that empower deeper learning, personalized experiences, and student engagement.
