Calif., April 27, 2001 – Educational Insights is pleased
to announce that its GeoSafari Knowledge Pad – The Plato
Collection is the recipient of three software awards and a
finalist for two others. The Plato Collection is Educational
Insights’ first title in a line of Knowledge Pad CD-ROM
programs.
Recent
awards include last summer’s EDDIE Award (Educational
Software Review) awarded by "ComputED Gazette,"
and the All Star Software seal from "Children’s
Software Revue" magazine. The Plato Collection was also
a finalist in the New York Festival New Media Competition
held last fall. In the spring of this year, The Plato Collection
became a "Media & Methods Magazine" Awards Portfolio
Winner, and it is currently a finalist for the Association
of Educational Publishers’ 2001 Distinguished Achievement
award.
