PresenceLearning Co-Founder and Co-CEO to Present at Summit for Private Tech Company CEOs and Investors from Around the World
Clay Whitehead is one of 140 CEOs hand-picked to present at The Montgomery Summit this month
SAN FRANCISCO, March 7, 2016 – Clay Whitehead, co-founder and co-CEO of PresenceLearning, was selected to present at the annual Montgomery Summit, an invite-only and highly selective conference for more 1,000 entrepreneurs, corporate executives and venture capitalists. To participate, companies must be nominated and then reviewed by the Montgomery Summit staff, partners and senior investors from some of the top venture and growth funds in the country. Nominations were evaluated by each company’s sector, stage, growth and engagement metrics, as well as criteria including management, vision, and more. This year, there were more than 4,000 nominations for the 140 presentation spots. Whitehead will present on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 4:30 PM PST at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, CA.
Every year, PresenceLearning has greatly expanded the number of live, online therapy sessions, having delivered more than one million sessions for students with special needs. The company started by offering online speech therapy and has grown to offer a variety of telemedicine services using their exclusive network of hundreds of fully certified clinical professionals. PresenceLearning has won numerous awards, including the coveted Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award for being one of the Best Places to Work in 2016.
PresenceLearning is now entering the healthcare market by partnering with InTouch Health, a telehealth network and services provider. The partnership will expand PresenceLearning’s online therapy services to patients in care sites such as non-affiliated hospitals, rehab centers, long-term care, clinics and homes. Patients will have access to highly qualified therapists anytime, anywhere – just like students receiving online therapy services from PresenceLearning – while reducing the overall cost of care.
“As a company, PresenceLearning has big plans and even bigger goals for the coming year,” said Whitehead. “Inc. named the Montgomery Summit as one of the top conferences for entrepreneurs to attend, and I certainly see why. Some of the most respected investors from around the world will be in attendance, so we are excited to share our story.”
