Clarissa Willis’ book releases during National Autism Awareness Month
Lewisville, N.C. – January 6, 2015 – In conjunction with April’s National Autism Awareness Month, an opportunity to educate the public about the millions of Americans who live with autism, Gryphon House Inc., a leading publisher of early childhood resources, will release an updated version of its book Teaching Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The updated book, by Clarissa Willis, PhD, will reflect the 2013 changes in the criteria for the diagnosis of autism as defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition (known as DSM-5), published by the American Psychiatric Association (APA).
