District Administration Names PresenceLearning’s Therapy Essentials a Top Ed Tech Product of 2022

NEW YORK, January 21, 2022 – PresenceLearning, the leading provider of online therapy solutions for schools and clinicians, has earned another award for Therapy Essentials, its solution to support school-based special education and counseling teams in delivering services to students. Therapy Essentials was named a winner in District Administration’s second annual Top Ed Tech Products of the Year awards. (Jan. 20, 2022) – In order to help organizations that are affected by ongoing staff shortages and individuals who are looking to enter the education field, the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS) is hosting a virtual National Career Fair from 1 - 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Feb. 11 and Feb.12, 2022. School districts and education companies from across the country will be at the online event to recruit for a wide variety of jobs, including teachers, school counselors, school and district superintendents and other education positions, as well as for company jobs such as education consultants. The event includes workshops for job seekers with interview tips, resume feedback and mock interviews. For school districts and companies, it offers an opportunity to make connections with the ALAS network to support diversity within staff.

KidWind Launches 2022 Simulation Challenge

KidWind Challenge Hosts First International Event in Mexico

During the event, students demonstrated their understanding of wind power and showcased and tested the design of their handcrafted wind turbines

(Tecate, Mexico) January 10, 2022 – KidWind, an international leader in clean energy education, partnered with Diurna Energy to host the first Mexico KidWind Challenge. KidWind brought the challenge to Mexico by hosting a KidWind workshop with 15 teachers from Baja California. These teachers then worked with 18 teams of students to craft wind turbines, and the teams then competed in the first ever KidWind Challenge in Mexico which was held on December 10, 2021, from 9 am to 3 pm PT at the State Arts Center in Tecate, Mexico. The three highest performing teams were all from CETIS-25, and each team had four high school students.
