Aperture Education Launches New Web Portal to Help Parents Understand and Teach Social-Emotional Learning Skills to their Children

New “parent portal” offers information and free SEL activities for families

Charlotte N.C. (Oct. 5, 2017) — Acquiring strong social-emotional skills can boost students’ academic achievement and set them up for lifelong success. When it comes to teaching these skills, parents play a key role. That’s why social-emotional learning (SEL) company Aperture Education has launched a new section on its web site dedicated to helping parents and families understand social-emotional skills, This “parent portal” provides information, resources and free activities on SEL to help parents practice and teach these skills at home.
